The Flying Fox at Gravity Canyon in New Zealand sends you soaring superman style over gorgeous mossy green landscapes at up to 100 miles an hour. The name Flying Fox seems like a bit of a misnomer, this thrilling zipline is far from foxy, though a bit of fox-style craziness will likely encourage your ride.
Dragon’s Breath Rock
You’ll only get to try out the longest overwater zip line in the world if you visit Royal Caribbean’s private Haitian island. Dragon’s Breath Rock, 500 ft above the white sands below is the starting point for this 2,600-foot zip line that sends you soaring over Buccaneers’ Bay at speeds of up to 50 mph, before landing you gently on the beach below.
Hunter Mountain SkyRider
Two hours north of New York City is the legendary Hunter Mountain SkyRider Zipline Tour. This zip line course in formidable, encompassing over 4.5 miles and reaching speeds of up to 50 mph. At its highest point, this zip line hangs 600 feet above the forest floor.
